If you message us through a contact form on our website, we will reply to the email address that you gave us with. This will NOT subscribe you to any newsletters, and we will NOT provide your details out to any 3rd parties.
Cookies:
We place cookies on a few of our pages in order to track the performance of our paid traffic from Facebook, Google and other sources. This allows us to see if people are clicking through to our website, and if they are going further or not, and allows us to make more educated decisions. We do not get release any private data from this, and we will not pass on our pixel with any third other companies.
Logging in:
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to keep your login details and your screen display preferences. Login cookies last for 2 days, and screen options cookies last for 12 months. If you tick “Remember Me”, your login will remain the same for 14 days. If you sign out of your account, the login cookies will be deleted. If you edit or publish a blog post, an extra cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal information and just indicates the post ID of the blog post you just edited. It expires after 24 hours.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other sites behaves in the exact same way as if the viewer has visited the other website. We do not share information with 3rd parties, however we may place Facebook and/or Google pixels in order to monitor the success of our paid advertising. This will not give us any personal data, but allows us to make informed choices based on the aggregate numbers.
How long we keep your personal information:
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are stored indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow up comments automatically instead of keeping them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our site (if any), we also store the personal information they give us in their user profile. All members can see, edit, or erase their personal data at any point (however they cannot change their username). Website admin can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data:
If you have a profile on this site, or have left comments (currently turned off), you may request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have given to us. You can also request that we erase any private information we have stored about you. This does not include any information we are required to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
